Team

Paul founded the company as a specialist roofing contractor over 30 years ago, he remains the company Chairman and lends his vast experience in roofing to the WEG roofing division. Paul is a qualified Construction Manager and holds a degree in mechanical engineering.

Steve has been the Managing Director since 2017. He joined the company in 1997 having worked in the industry as a carpenter and continued his career development gaining an HNC qualification in Building Studies. Steve has been instrumental in the development of the construction and design aspect of the business and through his experience looks forward to future success across the whole company.

Anne is a Director and founder along side her husband Paul. She has been involved with the company from its inception and has been instrumental in West End's development and success. In 2013 she retired from working in the office but still has an active role in the overall management of the company.

Michelle joined the company in 2007 as part of the office administration team and provides support to both our accounts department and reactive maintenance team on a daily basis. Over the last 17 years her role has expanded as the company has grown and in 2019 she was made a Director.

Dan joined the team in 2014 as the Company Accountant and is responsible for the financial management of the business. After graduating from University in 1996, he acquired a diverse portfolio of experience within a variety of different industries prior to joining West End Group. In 2019 the shareholders took the decision to promote him to Finance Director.

Tony joined WEG in 1996, completing his carpentry apprenticeship with the company. Tony joined the office team in 2003 and through his progression he became an accomplished Contracts Manager. Tony gained his NVQ Level 6 in Construction Contracting Operations in 2018. Tony became an Estimator in 2022, now sourcing, negotiating best prices from suppliers & sub-contractors.

Annie joined the admin team in April 2018, she became Office Manager in 2021, taking the lead in developing, auditing and maintaining West End Groups QMS system in line with ISO 9001 2015 standards, also maintaining our Health & Safety Management System in line with our CHAS Accreditation. Annie has completed her IOSH Managing Safely & NEBOSH Managing Construction Safely.

Tracy joined the WEG Office Team in March 2020. She is a proactive member of the administrative team assisting with general office duties and enquiries. Tracy provides essential support with tender enquiries and office assistance to our management and on site teams.

Craig joined WEG in June 2002, progressing from a carpentry trade background to site manager. He achieved NVQ 6 Construction Site Management qualification in 2019. Craig has been responsible for the delivery of many of our Major Projects. All projects were in excess of £1M. Due to his continual improvement Craig is now based at our Head Office as a Contracts Manager.

Matt is our longest serving employee joining WEG July 1996, progressing from a carpentry trade background to Site Manager. Matt went on to achieve his NVQ 6 Construction Site Management qualification and has successfully delivered a wide variety of our major construction projects, including previously completed specialist Mental Health refurbishments.

Steve joined WEG in 1997 as a Flat Roofing Operative. Steve is an experienced flat roofing operative and is an approved installer for many of the leading felt roof manufacturers. Steve is also an approved installer of Westwood Roof Waterproofing Systems. He has achieved his NVQ 2 and CITB 1 Day Health and Safety Awareness Qualifications.

Tony joined WEG in 1997 and works for us as a Flat Roofing Operative. Tony has a wealth of experience in the roofing industry and is an approved installer for many of the leading felt roof manufacturers and Westwood Roof Waterproofing Systems. He has also achieved his NVQ 2 and SMSTS qualifications.

Gary joined WEG as a Flat Roofing Operative in 2000 and is an accomplished felt roofing operative and is an approved installer for many of the leading felt roof manufacturers. He has also achieved his NVQ 2 and CITB 1 Day Health and Safety Awareness Qualifications.

Ricky worked through WEG as a General Labourer and due to his enthusiasm and work ethic, in 2017, he was employed as a permanent member of the team. Ricky holds a Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Site Carpentry and looks to develop his carpentry skills through further qualifications. Ricky is also an approved installer of Westwood Roof Waterproofing Systems.

Kris joined WEG in 2007 as a Site Operative and is gaining experience by working alongside both our qualified roofing and building operatives.

Jake joined WEG in January 2017 as a General labourer and has gained experience by working alongside our qualified roofing operatives. Jake is an approved installer of Westwood Roof Waterproofing Systems.
